Peter has spent 30 years working for various local authorities in Essex, most recently for the past 5 years at Maldon District Council where he was the Development Control Manager. He was also employed for 18 years at Tendring District Council. His experience has involved the consideration of and determination of every possible type of planning application including major residential and commercial developments, large scale infrastructure projects and the vast array of other development proposals covering the rural and urban landscape.
He brings to the firm a considerable understanding of planning legal issues and the ability to resolve complex enforcement problems. A common sense, pragmatic approach is adopted, recognising that planning issues affect the community in many forms while attempting to resolve potential conflicts if and when they arise.
