Paul Goakes Receives Award From The Development Trust Association.

On the 28th June at the Royal Bank of Scotland HQ in London, Paul Goakes was presented with an award by Ian Cowie the CEO of Business and Commercial Banking for RBS for his time and dedication to helping develop and implement the plans for the Bromham Millers CIC.

Bromham Mill is an iconic heritage asset, offering community services including help for people starting up craft businesses and jobs for those with learning & autistic disabilities.  Paul has  spent an enormous amount of time helping to implement the plans for the Mill and other forthcoming ventures including helping to find the premises for the Community Craft Centre at Colmworth. He has also taken a pro bono interest in the CIC’s plans for a “Green Hub” social enterprise on a 50 acre farm in South Bedfordshire. 

Paul was nominated by Sheila Moorcroft the Executive Vice-Chairman of the Bromham Millers who is featured in the photo along with Ian Cowie from RBS.
