Sunshine Brings Out Strong Bidding

Robinson & Hall recently held a Machinery Auction in conjunction with Cheffins Machinery Auctioneers on behalf of Messrs Hitchcock Farms Ltd at Elmsett.  A bright sunny day and the promise of continuing fine weather saw good crowds attend the site in Elmsett which resulted in competitve bidding for all lots.

Having let the farm through Robinson & Hall, the sale was a genuine dispersal sale from a 600 acre mainly arable unit.  Lots of particular note included:

• Twose 540S 2004 mounted hedgecutter - £6,200
• Brian Legg 13 tonne trailer - £5,350
• 2009 Deutz Fahr Agrotron tractor - £41,500
• 2003 Claas Lexion 520 Straw Walker Combine - £79,000
• 2005 Bateman RB25 4wd Self-Propelled Sprayer - £50,000

Despite unexciting cereal prices there seemed to be a good confidence among the bidders who recognised good quality machinery & bid accordingly.
